The Ridge

Introducing the Limited Edition Atomic Purple Wallet. Straight from the clear-tech era.

The Ridge ad

The hook. "Nostalgia Meets MagSafe." Four words that collide two eras: the see-through Game Boy plastic of 1998 and the Apple accessory ecosystem of now. If you grew up on clear-tech, this headline picks you out of the feed by memory.

Why it works. Ridge sells an aluminium rectangle. The product cannot change much, so the creative carries the whole story, and this one runs three plays at once. Nostalgia does the targeting: the Atomic Purple colourway is aimed straight at people who owned that Game Boy. The limited edition framing adds urgency without a fake countdown. And the copy quietly stacks the rational case after the emotional hook lands: holds 1 to 12 cards, blocks RFID, Built-for-Life warranty. Feel first, justify second, and the risk reversal handles the last objection before it forms.

Steal this. Your product has a colour, a material or a shape that can borrow a memory. Pick the era your best customers grew up in, make one limited run that references it, and let the collab or colourway be the ad. Then close with your warranty or guarantee in the same breath, because nostalgia opens wallets but risk reversal empties them.
