A marketer working with a dental clinic in Zurich posted the numbers from a small Facebook lead form campaign: about 3,500 CHF (roughly $3,800) in spend, 166 leads, and a cost per lead near $23. Most of the wins he lists happen outside Ads Manager.
How to follow up Facebook lead ads within five minutes
Before paying for new leads, the team emailed and texted the clinic's old, supposedly dead contacts. Out of about 1,000, he says 15 booked within two weeks. Then, for every new lead form submission, an automation alerted staff by email and SMS and started a bridge call so the lead was contacted within minutes; out of hours leads got an email and a call the next morning. He credits this with 30 to 40 percent more bookings.
Creative used real photos and video of the clinic's staff and rooms rather than stock, which he says lifted click through rate by 29 percent. Copy led everywhere with the clinic's genuinely different offers, and he reports conversion rates roughly tripling against generic messaging. A CRM then sent five automated follow ups by SMS and email plus three appointment reminders. According to the post, 58 of the 166 leads became appointments and no shows fell by about 30 percent.
Why it works
Lead ads are cheap to click and easy to forget. Speed and repetition convert intent before it fades, and authentic imagery plus a concrete offer raise the quality of who clicks in the first place.
How to copy it
Reactivate your existing list first. Wire the lead form to an instant notification and a call. Schedule follow ups and reminders before you launch. Shoot your own photos.
