Questions people ask
How does ranking on the board work?
Your bid is your rank. The highest total bid holds number one until someone bids more, and the board resets every 90 days. There are no keywords, no auctions running in the background and no algorithm. The number next to a row is exactly what it cost.
How is the projected click figure calculated?
The clicks each row has received this season, divided by the days elapsed, multiplied by the days remaining. It assumes the row keeps its position and traffic stays steady, which is a rough guide rather than a promise.
What are the Meta and Google CPC figures based on?
They are editable defaults in the calculator, set to typical averages for a small advertiser. Put your own account's cost per click in to get a like for like comparison.
Can I top up a bid instead of paying the full amount?
Yes. Bids under the same name add up, so if you hold rank 4 at 40 dollars and rank 1 is 100, a 61 dollar top up takes the top spot. The bid form works this out for you when you type an existing name.
